The Service provides information and assistance tools but does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All outputs generated by the AI system are for informational and educational purposes only.

4.2 Professional Judgment Required

Users must:

• Exercise independent professional judgment in all clinical decisions
• Verify all information provided by the Service through appropriate medical references
• Never rely solely on AI-generated content for patient care decisions
• Maintain compliance with applicable medical standards of care

5. Acceptable Use Policy

6. Patient Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 No Patient Data

You must NOT input any patient-identifiable information, protected health information (PHI), or personal health data into the Service. The Service is not designed or certified for handling such sensitive information.

6.2 De-identification Required

If you need to discuss clinical cases, you must completely de-identify all information by removing:

• Names, initials, or any personal identifiers
• Dates (birth dates, admission dates, etc.)
• Geographic information smaller than state/province
• Contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, etc.)
• Medical record numbers or other unique identifiers
• Any other information that could identify an individual

6.3 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable data protection and healthcare privacy laws, including but not limited to:

• Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
• US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), if applicable
• EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if applicable
• Any other applicable privacy regulations in your jurisdiction

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Ownership

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, and technology, is owned by VELANTEC PTE. LTD. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY MEDICAL OUTCOMES, CLINICAL DECISIONS, PATIENT INJURIES, OR ANY CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM THE USE OR MISUSE OF THE SERVICE. ALL CLINICAL DECISIONS AND PATIENT CARE REMAIN THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL.

10.2 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10.3 Limitation of Damages

IN NO EVENT SHALL VELANTEC PTE. LTD., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any errors or inaccuracies in the Service
• Any interruption or cessation of the Service

10.4 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or SGD 100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VELANTEC PTE. LTD., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

12. Termination

• Fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Any reason at our sole discretion

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to access the Service immediately ceases
• We may delete your account data after a reasonable period
• Outstanding payment obligations survive termination
• Sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.

14.6 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
